The 2024 Jonny Numb Tour

Jonny Numb Avatar

As I sit down to type this post, I realize – as I’ve realized for the past couple months – that I still have a lengthy recap of my September journey to New Jersey to see L7 to finalize and post. Honestly, at the end of the day, it’s not the actual writing that’s difficult, but the desire to give my loyal readers their money’s worth [cue editorial chuckle] by adding photos and videos to supplement the text, which is easily the most laborious aspect of our Brave New Multimedia World.

That’s not to say the extra effort isn’t worth it, but it’s often hard to rile the necessary level of motivation to accomplish such tasks. Even in my regrettable LiveJournal days, I spent an inordinate amount of time revising my posts for an audience of next-to-none (though one could argue the point of any journal, first and foremost, is to placate the person doing the writing/typing – but that’s a rant for another time).

In any event, as you’ll note below, I’m seeing L7 yet again in 2024 (this time at a venue that’s much closer to home). Who knows – maybe I’ll have my recap of last year’s show completed and scheduled just in time for this year’s outing!

Here’s my current lineup of live shows and events which will require a minimum of shirt and shoes to attend:

(* = tentative; and the 24-Hour Horrorthon may overlap with my AAA trip)

(** = mostly going to see the mighty I Ya Toyah slay the stage once again!)

And to think…when I was looking over my ticket envelopes and yearly planner thus far, I thought 2024 seemed a bit lackluster overall. [cue another editorial chuckle]

Kind of wondering when I’ll reach the point where I announce to the world: “I’m too old for this shit!”

We’ll see. Of course, the listing above is always subject to my ever-evolving flakiness.
